Sales Engineer – Ventilation Specialist Role

We are now looking to find the right candiate for a Sales Engineer in a Ventilation Specialist Role


Key duties:

  • Develop and execute a sales plan for our Ventilation product range within the assigned territory.
  • Prospect new customers within the assigned territory and develop specific business development strategies and action plans that will lead to market share growth and realisation of the territory sales plan.
  • Organise and conduct CPD seminars to architects, consultants and contractors.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with personnel of all relevant levels within customer organisations.
  • Establish and maintain a good company image within the territory by providing exceptional customer service, professional business attitude, up-to-date product knowledge and thorough understanding of customer needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with Versatile supporting functions: identify opportunities for new product and services development, and support marketing when appropriate by attending trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.


Qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years working experience in sales associated with the building industry and with a sound understanding and ability in specification selling, tracking and managing to order.
  • A balance of technical acumen and commercial sales ability.
  • Understand technical drawings and the construction process.
  • Proven track record in business development.
