The Heating Solution – Carboline radiant panels.

The Details

The South West Acute Hospital is a new 300-bed acute hospital with designated centres for women and children. The hospital is located north of Enniskillen in the County Fermanagh countryside with views of nearby Wolfe Lough. It is Northern Ireland’s first hospital with 100 per cent single patient bedrooms. This is the largest hospital built in Ireland and is the central hub for healthcare for the surrounding area.

The Solution

Carboline Radiant Panels were used in this instance as they set new standards in terms of performance, temperature distribution and controllability. Constructed from steel sheeting and a patented graphite and copper insert, the Zehnder Carboline is a smooth, flat and lightweight panel designed for both heating and cooling. This high-performance system can easily and practically be integrated into existing, new grid and suspended ceilings making the Zehnder Carboline perfectly suited to providing climate control in offices, schools, hospitals, meeting rooms and surgeries – in short, everywhere a comfortable and healthy indoor climate plays a decisive role.
