Dumfries Learning Town brings all the schools across Dumfries, UK together to deliver education on a ‘whole town’ basis. The development will be completed over 2 phases involving new buildings and the redevelopment of existing buildings. Phase 1 has opened and phase 2 is expected to open from 2021 onwards.
The Solution
We were pleased to support this project by supplying the heating solutions, with radiant panels selected to provide an efficient, economical and energy-saving solution while creating a comfortable, uniform distribution of heat.
The radiant panels chosen to meet this project’s requirements were:
Zehnder Alumline, which can be used for sound absorption with benefits including efficient thermal transfer leading to high energy savings
Zehnder ZIP, which are heated by hot water, maintenance is minimal and service life is unlimited – saving energy and money
