Axis Construction required a solution for ceiling-mounted heat recovery in a new residential complex in Dublin. The project aimed to meet modern ventilation standards and ensure efficient heat recovery in a space-constrained environment.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was the limited space available in the utility rooms of the apartment complex, which necessitated a ceiling-mounted solution. The system needed to provide decentralised heat recovery while adhering to modern ventilation standards.
The Solution
We selected the Comfo Flex unit for its ability to deliver high-performance ventilation in tight spaces. The Comfo Flex was ceiling-mounted and controlled via a user-friendly app, providing an efficient and modern solution to the project’s requirements.
Features and Benefits of the Comfo Flex Unit:
Space-Saving Design: The compact dimensions of the Comfo Flex unit (1068 x 868 x 327 mm) allowed it to fit seamlessly into the limited space available.
Advanced Control: Integrated WIFI and app control offer ease of use and remote management.
Efficient Operation: The unit provides optimized airflow, reduced noise, and effective heat recovery, handling up to 250 m³/h at 200 Pa.
Flexible Installation: Adjustable brackets and turnable bends accommodate various ceiling orientations.
Outcome
The installation of the Comfo Flex unit successfully met the project’s ventilation and space constraints. The system ensures efficient heat recovery and optimal air quality, contributing to a comfortable and energy-efficient living environment.
