New offices for the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform in Tipperary.
The Challenge
The challenge was to provide low energy heating that would coordinate seamlessly with aesthetic features in this 4,404m² building.
The Solution
The Versatile trench was chosen for its fast response time in comparison with underfloor heating, and its low-water heat exchanger allowing building performance to be optimised and benefiting from thermal heat gain from sunshine through the glazed perimeter. This unobtrusive system is finished with sleek aluminium grilles discreetly set underfoot, optimising space without obstructing the view.
