Featuring our patent pending magnetic handles, Zen offers a uniquely pure form free of the traditional fixings and rosettes. Handles are available in four stones or a metal option.
Zen’s name comes from a challenge we set ourselves to develop a range that used presented a handle from stone in the most pure form possible. To achieve that brief we knew we wanted to present the handle as a simple circle, but it took us a while to work out a way that owners could still operate such an elementary form with soapy hands. As so often is the case the most elegant solution proved to be the most effective – simply tapering the sidewalls of the handle to the same angle as a gripped hand we were able to vastly increase the friction and overcome the problem.
Zen is an elegant range that can present as masculine or feminine according to the selection of stone and finish. Pair White Onyx with Polished Nickel or Nero Marquina with Rustica Brass and you will end up with two entirely different characters from the same product. As with all of our ranges therefore we suggest considering first the nature of the space where the tap is intended to be located and then picking a finish that is in harmony with that character.
